ABOUT EAST LOTHIAN COMMUNITY PLANNING PARTNERSHIP
The partnership - ELCPP for short - is the lead organisation for community planning in East Lothian. ELCPP is a broad based partnership of organisations from the public, voluntary, private and community sectors that come together to work in a community planning way. ELCPP draws in partnership groups for priority themes and local areas.
ELCPP is chaired by the Council Leader as East Lothian Council which has statutory responsibility to lead on Community Planning.
Partners have agreed a Statement of Intent for East Lothian, which we aim to achieve through Our Plan for the Future of East Lothian: Single Outcome Agreement (SOA) 2011-our overarching plan. We aim to achieve our shared priorities in this document by:
- working together on activities agreed by our theme groups within outcome focused action plans
- working together on the activities agreed in local area community plans
- each organisation aligning its business plans to the SOA
